Training For Psychotherapists

I offer training for psychotherapists, interns and trainees on a variety of topics that draw on my legal background and my training as a psychotherapist.  Some of my current training topics are:

1. •    Winnicott’s view of early childhood development:
   

2.      How pre-verbal issues manifest in psychotherapy and how to work effectively with this stage of development; 
   

1. •    Learning to work with destructive aggression to foster confidence & self-esteem in your clients;
   

1. •     Interacting with the legal system (including record-keeping, issues related to subpoenas and testimony in court, understanding the court process, what to expect from the attorneys and how to interact with your clients).
   

I am available to present on these topics at clinics, agencies, or graduate programs. I also enjoy teaching small groups and am available to do that in my office in San Francisco. Fees are determined once the parameters of the training are established.
